Bola de oro is a football (soccer) strategy game, mirroring a real world
football tournament. The player acts as a coach for a fantasy football
team, built using the actual footballers participating in the choosen
tournament. The spirit of the game is to guess the teams and footballers
who will perform the best in the tournament, in order to gain the
maximum score.

The player will be allowed to form a squad of eleven regulars and twelve
substitutes, conforming the tactical scheme of choice. In between the
actual games, substitutions will be possible, in order to deploy the
best team for the next rounds matches. Scores will be assigned to each
footballer objectively, based on the performance in each round.

All score calculations will be made automatically from the Bola de oro
system. The player will be able to check the personal score, splitted by
round and further splitted by single footballer (match, minute of the
event, description of the event and score).

Players will be allowed to form mini-tournaments inviting friends or
colleagues. Upon each round end, the general ranking will be updated and
the player will be able to check the team rank and the detached ranking
of the mini-tournaments in which the team participate, if applicable.
